Research projects

In the Department of Movement and Exercise Science, our research focuses on: sensorimotor control mechanisms, sport-related questions of perception and action, movement teaching and learning in sports, and the connection between sport and sleep.  We also develop technology for sports science research as well as for sports performance enhancement. Moreover, bringing together theoretical, technical, and practical expertise, our research group actively participates in theory development, the discussion of interdisciplinary sports science, and the creation of teaching materials. Our research areas are presented in detail below.
